Birthday Celebrations

So yesterday morning Jared took Jake to Publix to get him some Donuts. He was so excited to eat them and got a little embarrassed when we sang Happy Birthday to him. I was a little surprised that he blew the candles out before I could tell him to. Not sure how he knew the routine but he did. And then he stuffed his face with more donuts then he needed!

Later that afternoon we took Jake and Cori to Blizzard Beach in Orlando (one of the Disney water parks). They had so much fun. There is nothing like a water park to remind you that you are HUGE and have no business in a swimsuit!

But it was so worth it to WATCH the kids and Jared have a good time (which is what you do when you go to a theme park in your 3rd trimester). Jakey new something was special about the day but not sure what that was. He did love the attention and we liked giving it to him. He didn't love the slides at first but slowly warmed up to the idea after we nudged him down a couple of times.

Cori on the other hand has no fear!

We ended our day with an over sized pail of ice cream sunday. The first half was so good but than it got a little "interesting" towards the bottom so Jared, Cori and I had had enough but Jakey was lovin it! He was not happy with Jared when Jared threw it away.

We had a great day with the kids and what a fun way to celebrate a birthday! Many thanks to Nana and Papa for watching Jason for us.
