California LOVE

This year my oldest and youngest brother are getting married.
We just spent a week at the Riverhouse for my Brother Ben's Wedding to Dara.
WE. HAD. A. BLAST.
.
Since we GET to spend two special occasions with the ENTIRE family, Mom & Dad (Mom) decided to forgo the Reunion this year and just tack on a couple activities to both weddings.

This years reunion theme was/is TEAMWORK!
What's gonna work? TEAMWORK!
What's gonna work? TEAMWORK!
We're not too big and were not too tough
but when we work together we got the right stuff!

Thank you Wonder Pets!
It was/is a cute theme and in a large family (or any family) it's very important.

So here is a run down of the week...

Baths are a must at the Riverhouse.
With 5 acres of dirt, rocks, river, and brush your bound to be dirty and stinky!

We put our TEAMWORK skills together to help G'ma plant her garden.

This little plant Cori got last August while attending G'ma and G'pa's Ward.
It was a cute lesson about Faith and if we "feed" our faith it will grow.
So G'ma kept feeding it for Cori and it outgrew the cup it was planted in,
so G'ma and Cori planted it in her Garden.

While on a TEAM, it's important to have fun.
So fun was had at "Pump it up" Trampoline place.

We also ventured out to Fairytale Town.
If you are in the Sacramento area, this place is WAY cute!

G'ma and G'pa surprised the kids with a new playset!
The kids had a BLAST breaking it in... LITERALLY! :)

We played with ATV's (big and small), skateboards, scooters, cars, bikes etc.

We worked together to help decorate for the Wedding Which was held in the Backyard overlooking the river.

Dad had a pretty good burn pile going so we got to have a campfire.
We roasted smores and hotdogs, in that order!

We got to send quality time together playing, laughing and
getting to know future members of the family.
We were all very excited to meet Uncle Ty's fiance Christi!

Here we are sporting this years Reunion T-shirts which I have personaly worn everyday since.

It is always nice to spend all day long everyday with this guy!

And lastly, we practiced a wedding.

Wedding post to follow...

Cindi-Please let your parents know how amazing they are! I truly do admire the love they have for family and the examples they are to me. Drew and I have great parents, but nothing like yours. I truly want to be like them with my family as we grow together and add to our clan! Looks so fun and so amazing! Thanks for sharing!
