So the Rafters were gonna do just the upper and lower parts of the American River but someone thought it would be a great idea to do the middle fork.
My Dad, a seasoned rafter hadn't done the middle fork in like 20 maybe 30 years!
It is pretty intense and here are the pictures to prove it!

this summer Uncle Ty worked for these photographers. That's why he knows where they are and is posing for the cameras instead of paddling!
